Silverette® nursing cups are now available in SMALL, MEDIUM and LARGE, giving you more choice for a comfortable fit.
This guide explains how to measure, which size to choose, and what the 2026 size names mean.
How to measure your areola?
- Use a soft tape measure or a ruler.
- Measure your areola diameter straight across its widest part, from one edge to another (A to B on the chart below).
- Match your measurement to the size chart below.
Frequently Asked Questions
Choose the larger cup.
No. The rim of the cup rests gently on the areola, creating a protected dome over the nipple. Full areola coverage isn't required for Silverette® to work.
You can measure during pregnancy if you’re buying ahead. Your breasts and areolas may change during pregnancy and after your milk comes in, so choose the larger size if you’re between sizes.
Check your measurements again if your cups begin to feel uncomfortable. A change in breast size does not automatically mean you need different cups—your areola measurement and comfort are the key considerations.
Large (L) is a new, larger option. If your previous pair fits comfortably, choose its corresponding new size.
New Size Names in 2026
In 2026, Silverette® updated its size names. The cups themselves have not changed, only the size names. See the guide below for more details:
